Application for Employment - Margie's Bar *

[Talon]

**A slender well toned girl with long white-blonde hair that is tied back in a french knot and the tail draping down to the back of her ankles, approches the bar quietly. She had been let in by Goon and showed absoloutly no hostility in any of her movements, though they were unmistakenably those of grace and poise. When reached for by one who has had obviously far too much to drink, she pivots , moving smoothly out of the way on the tips of her toes which if noticed are in simple black suede shoes. She smiles shyly and when at the bar itself, violet eyes look to see if the owner is even around. She swallows hard and sets down the resume. Nervious about even being here. Soft spoken voice chimes plesantly**

"Hello? I'm here to drop off an aplication. May I speak to the owner please?"

[voodoo]

*A petite very pale woman with messy jet black hair and vivid green eyes steps up behind the bar. She has an easy warm smile and looks quite young.**

Aye luv, that'd be me. Margie Rowell, owner and operator.

*Margie's sharp eyes look the girl over and her nose twitches a little, then she gestures at the sign over her head**

This is a mutant friendly pub ye know,..

**she looks at the application and her brows furrow a little, then she looks back up at the girl and tilts her head, like a curious dog**

Pardon me fer askin', but what the feck all are ye wantin' a job here for? Says here ye went to Julliard an' all...no offense a'course.

[Talon]

"Hi Mrs. Rowell. I'm Rennie Jonston."

**She smiled shyly and nodded, toying a with her hair and letting out a sigh of both frustration and just tension. **

"I know. I don't really know any mutants but have no issues. Their just like everyone else right. But with a nasty slander name put against them c'ause there different."

**Scratching her head and thinking a moment she smiles warmly and feels a little embarased by the question.**

"To be honest....I just want to know who I am, and weather or not I have a family. I was adopted and am on a half baked quest to find out who my dad or mom are. Weird hu? I don't even know my real name. This just seemed like a good start. I've got my reasons but ....don't think it is aproperate to discuss them here. "

[voodoo]

**Margie's keen eyes soften a bit and she tilts her head the other way**

Oh aye,..we're just like everyone else, same problems, if ye cut us we bleed, if ye hurt us we cry..

**Margie pauses and feels bad, not all humans were mean and nasty. This girl seemed nice and Margie was a good judge of character,..most of the time. She extends a hand, her skin very warm to the touch, almost feverish**

Well ye know one now. Me husband over there is one too,..an' our son. He works here as well.

**Seeing how awkward the girl seems, Margie listens and her expression softens, she shakes her head quickly**

Ah no love, it don't sound wierd a'tall. I looked fer ages tryin' to find my real father after me Mum died. I can understand more than ye know. Well,..I can't put ye in charge of the bottles back here, that takes trainin'..but we sure could use a decent waitress and ye got a grace about ye. I can only pay the minimum wage ta start, but ye'll get tips for good service. Sound good to ye?

**Margie couldn't explain it exactly but her heart went out the girl. If she was willing to work around and for mutants, then she couldn't be bad.**

[Talon]

"Nah, your normal. Mutant is a silly term made by bully polititions any way. Good people aren't lables. Anyway...That sounds pretty good. When can I start?"

~She smiled then taking Margie's hand and not even a moment of hesitation. Though a little surprised by the heat she doesn't show it. She is just gratefull for the oppertunity to start and likes the woman already.~

[voodoo]

Ye can start tomorrow, Rennie.**Margie smiles brightly**
